Chelsea has won the 2019 UEFA Europa League

Chelsea wins the Europa League final against his city rival Arsenal by 4  - 1, after a spectacular second half in Giroud, Pedro and a double from Hazard on their crowning night in Baku at the Olympic Stadium.

Eden Hazard scored two goals on what could be the last time he plays for the west London side, in a victory that has prevented Arsenal from qualifying for the UEFA Champions League 2019/2020.

Olivier Giroud opened the scoring against his old club with a wonderful header and Pedro swept past the retiring Petr Cech from Hazard's cross.

Hazard then slotted home a penalty against former Blues goalkeeper Petr Cech to make it 3-0 with around 25 minutes to go.

Alex Iwobi gave Arsenal hope with a swerving 20-yard strike but Hazard smashed home Giroud's cross to seal it.

It was a London derby low on atmosphere, for a European final of this level with plenty of empty seats in the National Stadium in Azerbaijan, and those who were there witnessed a dull first half.
But the second half burst into life with the last four goals coming in the space of 12 minutes of the final.
